The Race Within is a powerful and deeply personal journey of resilience, faith, and transformation.
From navigating life as a teen mother to becoming a PhD and leader, Dr. Nila Ricks shares her story with honesty and intention—revealing the internal battles, defining moments, and decisions that shaped her path.
Through her RACE framework—Rise, Align, Cultivate, and Endure—this book offers both reflection and practical guidance for those seeking to move forward with clarity and purpose.
The Race Within is for anyone navigating life’s challenges while striving to stay grounded in who they are and who they are becoming—especially during seasons of growth, transition, and uncertainty.
Because no matter where you begin, your race is still worth running.
